Woman Trailblazer Winning at Blockchain

Yesterday I wrote about Women in Technology & Blockchain. Shortly after publication, one of the women I featured, Nelia Texiera, won a Blockchain competition at the CryptoChicks Blockchain Hackathon Conference. Wow!

Nelia is a lawyer and consultant on technology, design and innovation who runs her own practice Olive Branch Law.

This weekend Nelia was part of a team of people who came up with a winning submission sponsored by Juniper Life Insurance. The project was inspired by a desire to revolutionize the insurance space through blockchain.

Yesterday I thought Nelia was a trailblazer in Technology and Innovation. Last night the judges at the hackathon agreed. Congratulations Nelia!
